Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah (PBL) sebagai strategi untuk mengembangkan kreativitas metakognitif siswa dalam konteks psikologi pendidikan. Dengan metode penelitian kualitatif berbasis studi pustaka, penelitian ini mengintegrasikan analisis konten dan meta-sintesis terhadap berbagai sumber akademik, mencakup jurnal nasional dan terakreditasi internasional. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa PBL memfasilitasi pengembangan kreativitas metakognitif melalui proses pembelajaran konstruktivistik, yang mendorong siswa untuk merefleksikan, berdiskusi, dan mendengarkan proses berpikir mereka. Faktor psikologis seperti efikasi diri kreatif, motivasi intrinsik, serta toleransi terhadap ambiguitas turut berperan signifikan dalam efektivitas PBL. Integrasi teknologi digital dalam PBL juga membuka peluang untuk menikmati pengalaman belajar, meskipun perlu keseimbangan agar fokus tetap pada pengembangan kemampuan berpikir. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan memberikan kontribusi dalam penerapan PBL untuk memaksimalkan kreativitas metakognitif siswa di era pendidikan abad ke-21.
